We had beautiful sunny weather for our trip to Binscarth.  We all enjoyed walking and exploring in the woods.

We enjoyed our walk in Binscarth. 

We came across this little caterpillar in the field next to the woods.

We found out that moss mostly grows on the north facing side of a tree.

We got some really good bark rubbings.

We had fun doing some bark rubbings.

The boys and girls stopped to look up at the evergreen trees.

This was the view the children saw as they looked up amongst the evergreen trees.

Exploring in Binscarth.

We found few flowered garlic.  It had quite a strong smell!
